IMHO, it doesn't show leadership, unless that's "actually" who/what he is. And it's coming off as that's not the case. It comes off as shtick.

Looks more like the 55 year old pastor that dresses and talks like a 25 year old because he's trying to be accepted by a younger generation. And getting mocked behind his back.

It's better to be yourself, be authentic, and attract a circle around you that will respect you for who you are, as opposed to changing yourself to be what you think others want you to be. (Also, that only works by being a version of you worthy of respect, and who is an example that others should follow.)

I'll be very disappointed if/when that happens.

To be fgrank, I'll be astonished if that happens. Heup seems to be selling authenticity over hype... er... Heup over hype. And it seems to be working, to hear the responses of recruits who talk about it. It would be stupid to take a dump in that recipe.

More… but these are the ones I think are dumb.
No one tries to target anyone, it shouldn’t be an ejection. Taunting is objective, they could just be running in and the team celebrating before he crosses the line (say a pick six) and they are saying they will take it off the board.
