Our kitty that I posted about a while back that was beginning to show sign of kidney failure got real bad real quick over the weekend. We have an appt in about an hour to put her to sleep but my wife is at home and isn't even sure she makes it until then. We have had her for 15 years. She is going to incredibly missed.

The winters are very pleasant though. Yea Houston blows...dang floods every 2 years. We had 36" of rain with Hurricane Harvey. Just think 3' of rain in like 4 days and that was northwest Houston.

Much love. Tough thing to deal with.

Our 17 year cool cat was on hyperthyroidism meds for over a year and kidney's started to fail and went out pretty quickly after not eating nor drinking. He said a final, LOUD goodbye and went for his forever nap within minutes. RIP Mr. Squeaks

Ok. I dont think I need to outline the adversity this University and Staff has endured over last few seasons.

We are still a ways away from a 10 win season. Florida is just as if not more talented. We have to beat them before I buy in to 9 or 10 wins. That said, anything less than 8 wins is a dissappintment.

About 2.5 months away from a 10+ win season.

Excited about the WR updates and hearing/reading about how confident that side of the ball is. Hopefully this Hyatt hype is real this year, and the Squirrel legend is growing.

Feels like the defense could take a step forward. Hopefully the competition in the secondary yields improvement.

Disappointed about the Bru "out of shape" comments. He looked ok in that AP clip that he shared on Twitter.

Watching those videos, man Mixon can zip it in there. He really is a marvel.

I look for the pass rush to be much improved this year. That will help the corners more than anything.

Wonder if he knows JJ is a legend to us? Lost my best friend about 3 years ago now.
