I think 9-3 is a great target.

I will be upset at 8-4 depends on how it looks and who might be injured.

I would be over the moon with 10-2.

9-3 would have me very excited and talking some trash!!!
I break it down like this. Bama and Georgia, at this point, should be better than us and should win. We still have a chance, but they should win. So that's two losses.

Florida and LSU are both toss-ups. We could win both, we could lose both, but IMO, at the very least, we should split them. So one loss from that group.

Everyone else we should beat IMO. That's why I say 9-3. But if asked to choose which was more likely, 8-4 or 10-2, I'd pick 10-2. Maybe I'm overconfident, but I like this team, and barring injury as you noted, the floor should be 9-3 IMO. I think we're capable of upsetting UGA IF we're healthy. Not saying it will happen, but I believe it can happen.

Excited about the WR updates and hearing/reading about how confident that side of the ball is. Hopefully this Hyatt hype is real this year, and the Squirrel legend is growing.

Feels like the defense could take a step forward. Hopefully the competition in the secondary yields improvement.

Disappointed about the Bru "out of shape" comments. He looked ok in that AP clip that he shared on Twitter.

Watching those videos, man Mixon can zip it in there. He really is a marvel.

I consider the source for that information about Bru… there’s something about Eric Cain that kind of annoys me, and he often has head-scratching takes. Maybe he’s right here, but I’m hesitant to push that narrative too hard.

Our kitty that I posted about a while back that was beginning to show sign of kidney failure got real bad real quick over the weekend. We have an appt in about an hour to put her to sleep but my wife is at home and isn't even sure she makes it until then. We have had her for 15 years. She is going to incredibly missed.

Not concerned about the Bru news. Really not all that surprising I don't think considering his path. Will take him some work to get back in shape, and that gives other guys good reps.

I don't think it's worth thinking too much about. Treylon Burks came into summer minicamp with the Titans having asthma and couldn't finish workouts. Now he's looking sharp and making 1st round WR plays.

Bru will be fine.

How rare is this?
I'm sitting on the front porch and a bald eagle flies into the yard, about 8-10' off the ground, right in front of the porch. I think it was gonna land, but saw me and flew off, towards Knoxville. I'm south of Knoxville about 3miles.

Must be very rare to see one, I don't think there are that many around.

Either way, those things are massive!

There are more around now than you think, especially in the Lakeway Area Counties (Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Hawkins, Union, Campbell, Claiborne, Sevier, Anderson, and Cocke). Norris, Cherokee, and Douglas Lakes are all good places to spot Eagles and Bald Eagles. Both Dollywood and Auburn University have both done a great job with rescue and reintroduction to the area. It's still rare to spot one but they can definitely be seen in these areas (as can regular eagles).

Molly is 13 and she can't hike with us anymore except for short walks. I'm thankful for every day she is still with us.

loss 💯 he’s 13View attachment 476962

13 is ancient for a dog. You've been super lucky. Love them while they're here. And tbh, you'll still love them even after they're gone. Pets are family members to animal people. They give us so much.
