I’m not going to defend the punishment, but there is more to it. The NFL and NFLPA collectively bargained this process, with a retired female federal judge making the decision after the NFL presented its findings. The NFL can appeal. It wasn’t a unilateral decision by the NFL.

Watson also didn’t play last year, so I’m guessing that is in the mind of some. I’m sure the NFL had a hand in the Texans not playing him.
I know the NFLPA has a job. But, overall the unions have been terrible for sports, IMO.

Excited to see Bryson Eason in the mix on the DL. I remember seeing a practice video last year and his size stood out. Having some pass rush from the DT’s will help this defense a ton especially on 3rd down.

I got real excited when I read that also. Eason gives us immediate depth where we need it most. Can't wait to see how he adjust to that position. Hope he balls out for us.

Brandon works for barstool. The majority of his followers, and fans voting in those polls, are under the age of 25. I wouldn't put much stock into his nonsense.

Btw he has become outright desperate for engagement.
I genuinely don’t understand how Barstool has become such a big deal. Their content is garbage

Whitehead probably losing his place at RB if he's gonna miss with injury. JWT gonna take over that "big back" role easily imo.

Hopefully Wright gets healthy, wonder where they go to add some depth to that RB room though. Small repping with 2 freshmen isn't the best case scenario on Day 1 of Fall Camp (when you're typically at your healthiest). It'll help Dylan & JWT develop more at least, but we're gonna need more bodies or everyone to get and stay healthy.
I don’t think Wright is really “injured”. This is him. Just precautions I’m sure given our lack of unproven depth

Cover 3 (Fornelli, Patterson, Kanell, Elliott) did their QB draft. This was not draft-eligible QBs but just "who would you like to have at QB for your college team?" Hooker was 5th off the board.

Bud picked him but Kanell wanted him. Kanell also has him on his Heisman draft picks.

Neither Levis nor Rattler got picked (16 picks).

How rare is this?
I'm sitting on the front porch and a bald eagle flies into the yard, about 8-10' off the ground, right in front of the porch. I think it was gonna land, but saw me and flew off, towards Knoxville. I'm south of Knoxville about 3miles.

Must be very rare to see one, I don't think there are that many around.

Either way, those things are massive!

Kids start school later this week, so we took them to Big Canoe for a few nights. Spent the afternoon on the lake up there today and watched a pair of eagles for a little bit. It was a great thing to share with the kids.

Most media outlets are either marginally profitable or unprofitable these days. Getting people to pay even nominal amounts for content is difficult, so they scramble for attention by making inflammatory statements. And if a media organization becomes a "big deal", that often means somebody very wealthy is backing it for purposes that go beyond immediate profit, usually influence.

Good point.

If we're gonna have 90 million bowls wish they'd break the bowl tie ins.

Watching mid tier SEC and BG 10 teams is stagnant.

Yeah, they could make the bowls somewhat interesting again if they could just bid on whatever teams they wanted.
