Our 8 year old Weimaraner fell over dead with an apparent heart attack a few months ago. Burying or Cremating a Dog is awful. Humans dont deserve Dogs.

They love without question, even when it isn't deserved. Our current dog was obviously abused. He is scared of everything, especially brooms and fly swatters. We love him and snuggle with him and tell him he is the goodest boy as much as we can. People that hurt animals need dealing with.

I'm pretty sure my dog thinks I'm the pet.

Anyone who has ever had a Weimaraner knows this is true. They take lots of work and patience but they are the most loving, loyal, funny dogs on the planet. They are Velcro. No such thing as personal space. You’re furniture is theirs.

I really needed some good football news. Had to bury my dog that would have been 15 years old in October today. My daughter had to help me dig a grave deep enough for a German Shepherd because my husband had to work. It’s not been a good day.
So sorry……
I know the hurt

Bigger dogs don't tend to make it that long. Good long life. Heart's out, Oda. My lil princess had just turned 16 and we might've been able to stretch out some months, but when they stop eating you're on the clock. Every moment was a bonus since two years ago I was taking her in the morning and she ate a french fry from my daughter's Whataburger bag. Found out she had a correctible hole in her stomach. It's what we sign up for when we accept their unmatched love and loyalty. Good job, mom.
🧡 Yes, the vet was shocked she made it as long as she did. She had been going downhill for the last year so we cherished every moment. My husband has slept on the couch downstairs for the last year because she couldn’t get up and down the stairs anymore. Honestly think she hung around for him because he kept saying he didn’t know how he was going to make it without her. Unmatched love and loyalty is right. She was everything to us. My first two grandkid’s first word was “Sugar.” Although they said it differently…Suj•jer and Sug•gah. And she’s in page after page of scrapbooks.

I have a Pekingese that is spoiled rotten.

At least we’re ahead of AL and FL. But when did GA’s become number 1? Just because they won the NC?
As someone who has been in Tiger Stadium and Sanford Stadium, it's laughable Sanford would be above Tiger. It's egregious that Tiger isn't on the list.

Not only would I not have Sanford as number 1, I'm not sure I'd have them in the Top 15. Heck, I enjoyed Grocery Store Stadium more.

I'm not mad about our position on this list, but I'd sacrifice a couple spots in a trade to have Sanford Stadium removed entirely.

The rest of this list really isn't that bad.

Cherish every moment! I love border collies and Australian Shepherds, too. I love all of them lol. But those two along with German Shepherds are my favorites.
We have a German shepherd. I've been petting her while reading your sad news. So sorry for your loss. I'm listening to your advice to treasure every moment

Thank you!
Very welcome! Lost my shitzu mix 4 years ago. Let him out in our fenced in yard early one Saturday morning and never saw him again. Searched and looked everywhere for him, made flyers, posted on lost pets websites...got nothing. Disappeared without a trace. To this day, not a day goes by that I don't think of him, and I even still look for him. Just so glad you had all those years with her! I know I'm so thankful for the 6 years I had with my pup...

The trouble with (bar) Stool Sample, etc., is that they are literally in the business of being wrong. That's where the clicks are.

And want to say sorry to Glitch and all the others I didn’t respond to this week when you posted about your pets. It was becoming obvious this was her last week, and I just had to skip on by all those posts.

No apologies need @SweetasSoda. We all have our own stuff that we are going through. Those that have the ability and strength to respond, do. Next time let us know what is going on with you so we can send our prayers to you. We are a community and we lean on each other when we struggle or hurt. Don't hesitate to share what you need prayers for.

that is amazing. absolutely my fave artist.

had a chance to visit his showing at High Museum, aptly named. Astounding.

Starry Night in person, you'd never realize the time it mustve taken to paint. Layers upon layers of paint. Topographic map-esque. Absolute attention to detail.

Starry Night is by Vincent Van Gogh, not Monet…

It's really nice. You would love it.

Been there and visited Auschwitz death camp while there. One of the most heart breaking things I have ever seen. One thing about Polish currency they don't have coins. They just keep adding a zero. I was a millionaire while I was there. HAHA! It was nutz.

Oh, I am so sorry! This happened with our other German Shepard about 8 years ago. She just disappeared. We think someone stole her. At least we hope it was someone that would care for her instead of a wild animal out here since we’re connected to the state park. But we tromped all through the woods looking for any trace of her.

I could be wrong about how that played out, but as I watched that Florida game it seemed like Kiffin just wouldn't give his offense a chance, even late in the game when there was nothing to lose. Whether he didn't have confidence at that time, or was saving something for Georgia is obviously speculation on my part. But I felt certain that we would see something very different in Athens and that's what happened. After the Georgia game I recall he made a statement about beating Georgia going forward, which sort of supported my idea that he had held something back.

I agree with your take. He actually sandbagged the gator game as a preordained loss and out schemed the dawgs. Total asshat. Never deserved a chance at Tennessee, but he was able to con a dumbarse AD, much to the detriment of Tennessee.

Yes, I think that's what happened with him as well. We hoped the same for him, just never had any answers. And I absolutely know what you mean...we were all over the woods looking for any signs...good or bad...
