He could've, could've, been a great rb. He couldn't get out of his own way, mentally. . . and, of course, injuries. If he was dialed in like Small, he would've been among the very best rbs in the nation.

Joke I played on my dad years ago, when the lottery first got to TN. Called him at work and told him we were so close to winning, got the PB and 4 #s. He called back a few minutes later saying we won like $50k with those numbers. I told him I threw the ticket away cause I thought you had to hit all numbers. He wanted me to find the garbage man and start digging,

It seems like 4 #s + PB should be more than $50k.
If you get all 5 numbers, but no PB, it's $1mil.

I didn't realize the PB only is a winner. I'm sure I've thrown out a couple $4 winners over the years.

How did you notice he was a distraction? If you don’t think Tiyon was our best Rb last season, then you obviously have a drug problem

My person that use to be at all the practices talked about how much of a drama queen he was…. We have built up this legend of Evans like he was Herschel Walker or something but he wasn’t… he had talent and was good but not worth fretting about… if you take away the one game against the worst run defense I have ever seen(Missouri)…. Jabari Small averaged more ypc than him… Small laid it on the line when he probably shouldn’t have been on the field…That is the player we should be praising… not that flake Evans.

I've actually asked about this and get 2 responses. 1. They're happy for him and pull for him. They don't hold anything against him and blame Fuente.
2. They don't care. He wasn't helping VT, lost his spot on the depth chart, so he left and took an opportunity somewhere else. Best of luck.

Haven't talked to one that's mad about it. It's quite surprising.

I have never had a problem with VA Tech. Their fans showed up and were gracious at the Battle at Bristol. They have generally good football traditionally and they support their team. They don't get out in front of their skis to much and will generally speak realistically about their program.

Plus we have already played alot of games without him. Not even sure why some are still enamored with him. Its over and it doesn't matter. Our backs are nasty overall esp with the addition of Dixon and the two youngsters.

I’m would be willing to bet we will see more of Sampson this year than Thomas at RB

Depends on down and distance. 3rd and a couple we will send out the short yardage back.

Or run the option depending on how our OL is pushing the LOS.
