TR is garbage. You can’t run in the NFL when everybody and their grandmother know what’s coming. We run on 2nd and Long 95% of the time.

We had one quarter this year where we started the game passing on first down and marched down the field first two drives because the D was off balance. Only time all year we haven’t been completely predictable.

Butch shouldn’t have either. I agree now that he was never going to coach to the level we require. But he was at a 9 win level and started firing “his buddies” like Jancek for nationally recognized upgrades like Shoop. He heard the rumblings about the S&C and jumped at the chance to dump another of his long time guys in Lawson. HIS errors but there’s a backstory.

Yes they would. They're desperately trying to find a playmaker and it's evident by using the db on offense. The GM has drafted like he's playing Madden in the snow

Hiring Bob Shoop was a great move. Every single person around football praised that move. Just one of those weird scenarios that never worked out. He will probably have a great defense at Mississippi State this year.

Which is why you start Derrick Henry and he gets the ball in his hands 25-30 times per game. All it takes is one opening for him to house it. For him to get better at the weaknesses he has to play more.

Did I indicate that? I’m saying while we’re regaling with stories of what he “should have” and “shouldn’t have” done and concentrate our righteous hate towards, lot of us were on board.

Yeah, I'm not ready to say Shoop is a bust. But how he does at MSU will determine the truth of who he is IMO.

When he hired Shoop, I was hyped. Then after the staff changes last year I thought Butch had turned the corner as a coach...... until the UF game.

I’m still unsure if Shoop was part of the problem or was handcuffed. Looking back I think it’s somewhere in the middle and he was overrated but not as bad as he looked here.
