I think Georgia’s inexperience of being in that setting is what cost them the game last night. It showed late in the fourth quarter and in OT. They got extremely conservative with their playcalling. Chaney had called a great game up until that point, but he completely forgot what was working the first 3+ quarters. Add to that, Pruitt called a great 2nd half, and his defense executed.

Radio is talking about a UGA fan that put a 1k bet down this day last year for UGA to win national championship at 30/1. He was one blown coverage away from winning 30k. Ouch. Salt in the wound on that one.

That’s not how it works in that state though. He’s gonna do well but nobody in Georgia is from Georgia. It’s not like Louisiana. Doors always gonna be open.

Glad he didn’t win that game last night though. They are losing a ton after this year and they can’t sell early playing time.

Gonna take step back. Let’s hope they’ve peaked.

This. They will learn from it. Our best option is to never give them a chance to be there again.

Playing Chubb over Michel was silly stupid. The third down overthrow to Swift should never have happened. That play is too hard to execute. Throw to the TE or WR inside the hashes where they had found success the whole game.

I'm just glad our coaching staff will be on campus together and getting on the same page today. Screw Bama and UGA.

How many times did they mention Pruitt going to UT last night? I watched the coaches film room broadcast so I didn't have to listen to Herbie.

I said early in the game that Michel needed the bulk of the carries that game. He looked good and Chubb looked pedestrian.

whats crazy is all the uga fans around here saying "ahh we will be back" like its some easy task and its just a given. Its so hard to get there and they got every break this whole season until last night and still had a couple different leads in the game. They didnt have one season ending injury all yr. They had great fortune and still let it get away. Just to say you will be back is just delusional bc nobody knows. Its so hard to do.

Agreed. SVP was waxing poetic about Kirby and Georgia last night like they were gonna be doing this all the time. There are no guarantees.

It's a great day. CJP got nothing but praise for what he accomplished at Bama. Shearer accomplished great things with UGA's LB's. We are officially back on the road to being elite again. We have coaches that know the inside and flaws of two of the very best programs in America in the SEC.

Hope that was Saban's last NC and that Dabo takes over for him in a couple years. But they look loaded for next season. Hope Kirby sinks like a rock. It's Big Orange time.
