That doesn’t make sense. IF I said “most indigenous Americans don’t mind the nicknames”, then you could turn it around on me. But I never said that so there is nothing to turn around.

He made a definite statement about something he can’t possibly know to be fact. I didn’t.

After this happened I found out more info about my ex that is causing me to seek a lawyer to represent me in a custody case. I pulled my sons attendance record from school and he has either been absent or late for school nearly 50 percent of the time she has him. Neither her or her bf work and she has no vehicle. There is suspected drug abuse and selling inside the house. My kids don't have a room or their own beds there either. She seems to plan to stay with this guy despite a no contact order between him and my son. I don't understand how she plans on doing it. I need to get him and my 2 year old out of there asap.

It sucks. Hard to eat, hard to sleep. Every minute is worrying or working towards the goal. I saw the bruises like 4 days after it happened and they lasted almost another week.

The infuriation I feel for you is just a smidge of what you must feel. This is an amazing story your son is being given. Try to stay positive, see the future he will have, not his circumstances right now. You got this.

I went through an almost identical situation with my son a little more than 20 years ago. I was awarded full custody of my son, and she received supervised visitation rights (which she never visited him after she lost custody). Stay strong, stay focused, and you can win this battle. Hopefully your ex will come to her senses some day. It was difficult for my son growing up not knowing why his mom wouldn't come visit him, and I never had an answer for him. I told him some day he would have an opportunity to ask her himself, and that day finally came. She had to face him and try to answer for her neglect. I hope for a better outcome for you and your son. Good luck, I'm pulling for you!

You believe this about Hubbs? Putting him and Rucker in the same sentence is literally outrageous. Not even on the same journalistic spectrum.

Probably a little harsh yes.... Local Knoxville media deserves to be shut out for a season or two though IMO. I like that a tight ship is being run by Pruitt it seems so far and none of them have very good info if any at all. Really hope he shuts them out of practices, would be nice for a change

They get to watch them stretch. I get it the media here sucks but lumping Hubbs in that group is just plain ignorant.

POA, my thoughts and prayers are with you, and money will be on the way soon. I’m in a very similar situation and I know how hard this is. I know the worry and the helplessness at times.

For anyone who hasn’t been in a divorce or custody battle: please believe me, it isn’t cheap or easy, it is emotionally taxing, and one of the hardest things you’ll ever deal with. Believe me when I say and help you can give POA is one less burden he has to worry on so he can put all his energy toward those children who need him. We’re with you. God Bless.

I don't consider Hubbs true Knoxville media. He works for the Vol Network. He is one of them.

Hubbs probably bleeds a truer shade of Pantone 151 than anyone on this board. All he’s ever known is UT. Polar opposite to the likes of John Adams.
