I believe towards the end there was one year where EJ Abrams Ward was our highest rated recruit. I think we only got one or two 4*s and that was it.

I'm not a sunshine pumper. Just not in my DNA. I do think the criticism the staff is receiving for the fruits of Butch's incompetence is really unfair. I also don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with sunshine pumping; this a fan board.

Personally, today sucks. Our past coaches were able to use some residual goodwill for the UT brand to sell some good players on Tennessee in their opening classes. Today proves that goodwill is completely dried up.

Fixing football at UT is going to be a long, arduous process. For you, Chief, KV, and the rest of the Volnation "realists," I suggest you accept that particular nugget of reality.

I'm disappointed, but not jumping out a window or anything. I think we landed some guys that will be contributors, and I'm hopeful that a staff of coaches can make a difference with the players we already have.

Disappoint. I mean come on, let’s be real. Losing Quay and Young at the 11th hour was brutal. Hopefully the staff learns and adjusts.

I think NSD 2019 will look a lot different after we flip the script on Butch's final go and 4-8 and have a 7-5/8-5 type season with mostly close games and a full season to recruit.

I'm not really a sunshine pumper. I think that label kinda sucks in general. But I do tend to seek out positives.

Today is a pretty big bummer obviously. This was always going to be a tough day after the way last season played out. We didn't put out a very attractive destination for these kids to see on tv or twitter. All the headway for this class was made by our new coach in the last few weeks. That's a tough task and it was likely unrealistic to ever expect more. His early success got our hopes up. I don't think anybody was expecting to lock all these high profile guys down. Wish we had closed on one or two more tho.

I think Pruitt has his work cut out for him. He seems game though. In general I'm hoping we can find some leadership on this team and just get better. Looking forward to football either way.
