Our team ain't doing too well today hoss

No **** Sherlock. Not my point. But you’re obviously too dense to get it.

I will say it one more time. It isn’t that you’re disappointed in this class that makes you a d!ck. It’s mocking other posters for daring to be positive.

If you had said “this class is really disappointing”, you wouldn’t have heard a peep from me because I mostly agree. But saying “durr hurr, where’s ol Ron Swanson at, durr hurr”, that’s what makes you an a-hole.

Waiting so long to fire Butch Jones put us behind the 8 ball in nearly every aspect of finding a coach and recruiting.

No it didn't. Waiting to fire CBJ cost us nothing. Trying to hire Greg Schiano then having a two week long circus before orchestrating an actual search cost us some time though.

Its one thing to be disappointed in the class, I’m a bit disappointed, but it’s another thing to mock another poster just because they had faith that we would sign a good class.

I called out Swanson in response of him calling me out a few days back about being "negative."

I know some here are sick of hearing it, but you can't compare Pruitt's first class to those of Dooly and Butch. Neither of them had to deal with an early signing period. Pruitt came in behind because of that and then schools like Ga were able to load up on the early signee's. Once Ga. had their early signee's done, they could put more focus on the few spot they had left.

I just think it would have been different if we were still under the old rules. Georgia was able to put all their focus on a guy like Walker. I hate the early signing day. I still think it willo hurt us this year as well.

Some people think it's just kids being kids or "having fun with it." I'd be pretty disappointed with my kids if they did something like that.

I don't think it's any kind of huge deal. I just think you should strive to carry yourself better.

After the Gruden debacle, AtlantaVol declaring Walker as a Vol a week ago, and JAllen suggesting we’re getting Campbell and Griffin..... I am never ever ever ever ever putting any stock into anyone proclaiming to be a sourced up message board guy.

JAllen is almost always wrong. Might be a good rule of thumb to just assume the opposite of whatever he says will happen.

Had a current sec assistant tell me one time that in a class you hope for:

1-2 stars or diamonds in the rough
3 capable of starting as Freshman
5 than can produce on either side

And the rest depth/development or special teams.

I think we got that this year. Rankings aside.

How much was Pruitt hamstrung by the holes in the roster the previous staff left?

I agree, it's also time we admit this is no longer a top tier program. We are a lower second tier top third tier team.

We should be happy with to 15 classes and slowly rebuild this team into a power again. We are on the front end of a three to four year rebuild. All we can do is hope Pruitt is the right guy.
