Me either. And probably just one win over a ranked team without Dobbs.

Haha it's true. And it was the same game. USCe was ranked in 2013 and that's the only win against a ranked team or SEC team for butch without Dobbs. :thud:

Edit: Unless you count the win over UTC who was ranked in FCS at the time. :)

How many years does he need? This team is in transition he’ll be alright growing with the system. If not then he may not be the QB for Tennessee.

I already told you. One more 😀

Seriously though he’s been in a legit pro style system for 3 months. Started 5-6 games. No experience to my knowledge in this type of system. Not unreasonable for him to need a little more time

Fans always love the new strength coach. I've never been one of those fans until now. I really like this guy.

Same. But especially since there is a clear difference with Fitzgerald here

Agree - you can already see the difference. Fitz knows his stuff it appears. Nobody in the NFL doubted the Texans' physicality. CJP made some really good hirings considering UT's situation.

I’m there too. We saw both good and bad under Butch. This appears to be back to something good. I’m still stuck on the “no mirrors” part, but the real benefit I see and believe in are free weights and no machines. I’m no expert in this area, but it makes sense that if you rely on a machine for stability rather than auxiliary muscles (especially your core) then you aren’t maximizing your workout. Heck, anyone can get ripped, even with machines, but how useful is that muscle mass?

The book that espoused the theory stated that. Thanks for encouraging me to masturbate tho. :eek:k:

I remember the one that didn't exist. Still the worst coaching decision ever. It ended Cbj

That was the worst decision he ever made. Firing Lawson was the start of his rapid descent. There was some bad moves prior but that is the move that sent him in the downward spiral that he never recovered from.

Wait-- how are the players going to look in the mirror and see who they want to be if there are no mirrors?

Any person who can effectively quantify/categorize Butch Jones' mistakes is a far bigger man than I.

But seriously, I think some of the renovations are symbolic. They want to strip away everything from the failed regime and create a new culture ground-up. The new staff is disgusted by the state of the program-- and the players-- and wants the team to be in a completely different environment with a different routine and expectations. They're spending a bundle-- wouldn't have happened without Fulmer.

They've also sent a weightlifting program to incoming players to start conditioning this spring in preparation for joining the team. It's pretty rigorous.

It’s like Fulmer, Pruitt, and Fitz are literally trying to tear the previous coaching staffs’ stink out of our S&C facility 😂😂😂

He's a Hall of Fame talent. Smoking weed isn't a big deal. Most NFL players do it. And its becoming legal all over the country.

Antonio Callaway will be a SUPERSTAR in the NFL. Only an idiot would pass on him.

I should not engage with you, but I cannot help myself. If weed was his only issue, then I would agree it's not a big deal. But, that clearly is not only issue. I won't even get into his talent and playmaking ability because I know that you will never accept any argument, no matter how rational.

Did y'all see the SDS tweet yesterday showing the number of first-round picks from each SEC school over the past 10 years? SEC Mike (@MichaelWBratton) retweeted it with the following comments:

"Tennessee has experienced its worst decade of football in program history and still had the same number of first-round picks as Georgia and nearly doubled Auburn's total."

The numbers:

Alabama 22
Arkansas 2
Auburn 4
Florida 14
Georgia 7
Kentucky 1
LSU 11
Mississippi State 2
Missouri 8
Ole Miss 6
South Carolina 3
Tennessee 7
Texas A&M 9
Vanderbilt 1

Very surprised at that Georgia number considering how good and how much talent they’ve had over that span.
