Jimmy is on his soap box again....

Limited access and no excitement for fans at the orange and white game caused a limited turn out of 45,000

Thanks, Jimmy. No really, you can stop now. No really...

I'm not sure what his deal is. Admittedly, I don't read up as much as I used to but, from what I have read, he seems to be the poster boy for the underachieving CBJ recruits.

I don't think it's a talent issue, maybe it's mental maybe it's something else, but the last staff was adamant that when he came in and was immediately moved to offense that the offensive coaches "stole a first round DB from them."

I specifically remember that quote...

I'm clueless with him also. From his outstanding performance in the Army game and then to his college career so far. Really same could be said for Phillips also but he has been injured quite a bit.

OB how is your little girl Ashlee doing? My little boy Sutton turned 3 today...time has flown by....seems just like yesterday when both our kids were going through some tough times.

LOL it does tend to be filled with sweaty, scantily clad people. My classes tend to draw a lot of guys though. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I'll skip your class and go to the other ones you were talking about. Those are more betterer.

He must have counted when the other 20,000 people were in the restrooms and at the concession stands.

"Is it halftime yet? That's the best time to estimate crowd size. You know I'm an expert crowd size estimator? It's true."

Wife and I just got back from Hilton Head yesterday. I misread that at first and thought he'd been arrested there.

Thought the same thing when I read the headline the first time. They updated the story and I could then figure it out.

We are heading over for a couple of weeks on Saturday.

Some players have been half-assing it for a while. They don't put in the effort to get their bodies in game shape and they take plays off. They're getting ready to get confronted and challenged. Some of the high-potential players haven't taken this well in the past-- and Pruitt is going to be a lot tougher than Butch. He's not going to stroke egos, promise them whatever they want or beg them to stay. If they walk out, I don't see him going after them and talking them back.

It'll be interesting to see how they respond. Either they'll be all-in or all-out-- I don't sense a lot of middle ground with this staff. And that's a good thing, IMO.

That was the problem with Butch. Butch played favorites to guys that had seniority and were half assing it. He stroked egos and begged guys to stay. We got the guy that does the exact opposite.

Sooo... let's say 15 guys transfer... just hypothetical as I have no idea who likely will or won't, but does that simply mean we will be 15 guys short of the 85 player limit? How long will it take to get back to the 85 player limit if we can only take 25 players per year?

From a practical standpoint, the 25-player limit ("no exceptions") seems like a big problem.

Doubt would be that many just because it may not make sense for either party to part ways regardless of fit etc. I'm thinking 5-7 as General number not even thinking of names just guessing

That was the perception but it doesn't seem to be reality. He was at Texas during their softest years after we got rid of him. I think he was mostly known for videos of him doing the workouts with the players and everybody thought that was great. All the same things we said about him during and after his tenure hear were said by texas fans.

Similar to how we thought beard was great bc he coached in cleats

One of my VFL friends said as much after the lettermen's event over the weekend, which was first class apparently. That in itself is a huge improvement. He said there is a whole different vibe with how things are being done with the players that has Fulmer's stamp of approval.

Nobody has really answered WarMachine's question. If 15 guys transfer, does that have any effect on the size of future classes or will they remain limited to 25 per year?

If this is true, then you will likely be under the 85 limit for a few years until the roster is rebuilt...assuming minimal attrition, correct?

Prime Documentary on Michigan season from last year is a must see.

Harbaugh is a weird dude. Actual quote from him describing ball security. He was comparing it to getting his baby in the middle of the night and walking down stairs. “You need to pull your sweatpants up so you don’t trip. You squeeze that baby... I’m mean you don’t squeeze like a football but you squeeze him.” Entire team looking at him like he’s lost his mind.

25 doesn't change unfortunately. Don't know if that has anything to do with if you can make exceptions with transfers though or not
