Anecdotal example

When your fly into Malaysia, they very first thing you see when you step off the plane is a sign with a stick figure being beheaded and a warning that drug smuggling is illegal and punishable by death.

That freaks us out a little bit.

20 minutes later we get into a cab and one of the first things he says to us is “you guys looking for any drugs? I can help you get whatever you need”

We explain to him the sign we saw and he tells us something to the effect of “oh yeah, all the drugs are Chinese controlled. They don’t want you bringing any drugs in or taking them out. But authorities look the other way here as long as you are buying from the Chinese”

Not exactly

Not Chinese from China. Malaysian Chinese probably make up 20-30% of the population. They’ve been there for over 200 years, first as tin miners, but being extremely hard working, they accumulated wealth and businesses and now the economy is built on their backs, more so than the ethnic Malay

As for the drugs, certain gangs control those areas, and the generally run in very tight ethnic groups. Where I worked, Indian gangsters had the word, and they run the best restaurants for a late night tandoori chicken, naan and tea.

Different parts of the city, different story

I see. So in that part of Kuala Lumpur it must have been ethnic Chinese controlled. Makes sense

Yes it is. Wallace read the story from Callahan that the JUCO wasn't visiting because we have someone else. Then Simonton said it's Kennedy. Then Trey Wallace tweets his scoop. He's a fraud. But yeah, Kennedy is the rumor. He'll be our starting Center day 1 for two years.

The coaches weren't going to hold exit interviews until after spring semester ended. I'm sure we'll start seeing activity after interviews are complete and new players start arriving on campus. Some are here today.

you would think it would come eventually but really we don't have a ton of depth anywhere so a lot of kids still have chances to play as no spots are truly locked up. I think the ones you will see leave will be ones that are told it's best for them to find another spot.
