Don’t act like Peyton didn’t have a say in it.

He got to choose where to go and all...but at the time there were some who were skeptical whether he'd ever be able to play again, the Colts were in line to sign the highest rated QB prospect since Peyton, and they weren't about to pay two guys franchise QB money.

Honestly, donating to charity doesn't move my needle much. Im pretty sure the vast majority of athletes do it.

It's not the charity in general. I'm with you on that.

It's the fact that the douchey thing he did specifically led to $6 million to charity in an afternoon. IMO, that offsets some of the eyeroll of that one act. So it's hard for me to hate on that specifically. It's like if a comedian did a charity act and it bombed or something. Who cares? Some good came from it.

I always wanted a strong team around me. Seems to be working out for Durant, who will retire with rings, whereas Ewing, Malone, and Dan Marino always have those carrots hanging over their heads.

Gimme da rings

So Peyton’s a vag too because he left to go to a contender?

Apples and oranges. Peyton would have stayed in Indy his entire career if they wanted to keep him. Indy made the decision that they wanted to move on. Plus, the Broncos had not won a title before he joined them.

Lebron out scores MJ by a ton in the “good teammate, decent human being” categories.

MJ was a champion but has always had incredibly glaring character flaws that would have slaughtered him in this social media age.

That's not how conversations work.

For the past month this thread has been a cesspool of old heads salivating over MJ like he’s their last meal and millennials kissing the ground Lebron walks on like he’s the King of the world. Take that ish to the off topic.
