Malone and Payton waited too late in joining the Lakers. Same with Clyde Drexler at Houston.

Durant gave a ton of good years to OKC. I love it when a player stays with one team for an entire career, but a little candy on the hand is virtually everyone’s goal, and if you seem to be roadblocked after a decade and have a shot to go get it... best of luck

The fact is, this is a “catch all” thread for this forum, that will always default to football when relevant discussion is offered. I personally don’t mind some lively intelligent debate in meaningless subjects such as chocolate and GOAT for whatever sports. It offers a temporary distraction from real world problems and helps to break my day a bit.

If you would prefer a 10 post in a day off season type of thread, you are entitled to your opinion, but it is obvious by the non-personal back and forth volleying that many like to interact, and judging by the mods passivity on the issue, they seem to be fine with it too.

Don't bring rationale to the table, it doesn't fit the narrative!! I love Volantion, I absolutely loathe basketball, especially NBA, college I can do. Lol
So many more exciting topics...guns, bourbon, boats, cars, which actress is hotter, cool movies, etc...
This MJ/LJ/NBA thing he been going on for weeks!

I can’t stand golf or MLB, but VN gon VN, and that’s fine. It’s a community. If it was Nicksjuzunknation... I’d have modded most of you to Earth 9, and the rest would be my echo chamber 🤣

Not to mention OKC made it pretty clear when they traded Harden that they were content with being pretty good and being more profitable instead of going all in when they still had that core. Russ and KD are both great but the rest of that roster was so bad

Jurassic World was one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen. The raptors following commands and hunting in a pack with a guy on a friggin motorcycle is so absurd, it felt like watching Sharknado

Hot take...

We’ve always got “a veteran officiating crew” from the announcers.

I mean, when was the last time you heard, “We’ve got kind of a green officiating crew. Not much experience, but they’re here. We’re not better for it, but let’s just try to bear with it, best we can.”
