That’s my biggest knock on Lebron. He should’ve stayed in Miami where Pat Riley was the GM and called the shots. This Cavs roster is almost exclusively on him.

But I totally respect that move. Yes, he left to get his championships, was immature, etc. but in the end said, “I want to try to do this back home.”

The PGA now does a provisional 54-hole cut for most tournaments if they have over a certain number of players make the 36-hole cut. From what I can gather, that's what initiated the argument.

You're absolutely right, Glover shot a 78 on Saturday and was cut after 3 rounds. To Mrs. Glover: **** happens, so what?

Lulz...people acting like the Celtics are just a bunch of bums. Brown, Tatum, Rozier, Horford, and Smart. Yeah they're not bums...you wanna talk about bums...talk about the Cavs minus LeBron. Celtics are more talented and athletic than the Cavs. They actually play as a team and have probably a top 3 coach in the league.

The coaching is Lebron's fault. He runs them off.

The Celtics are talented but their stars are hurt. The rest are good players but young. It's amazing what happens when you play as a team.

Oh yea i totally do too. And his legacy wouldn’t be half of what it is if he didn’t win in Cleveland too. It’s the same thing i said for manning. Doing it in two cities is saying something. Especially when the team you leave goes to absolute crap without you. Shows how much you actually meant

I'm going to disagree, Nick. He got criticized heavily when he went to Miami, but I thought the move to Cleveland was total BS. It was supposedly all about him "going home" and raising his family in his hometown. Truth is, he knew Wade had lost a couple of steps and he felt his chances of winning more championships were elsewhere.

If the situation wasn't right to create a new superteam in Cleveland...remember, they had the cap room to attract Kyrie and Love, in addition to other role players...you can bet every thing you own he would have never returned. The same thing is happening now...the future in Cleveland for more championships is cloudier than anytime since he returned...and guess what, he's likely leaving for greener pastures.

Hey guys, just a general PSA here. Most of you have been great posters for a long time. I want to encourage you to keep up your high standards...don't rest on your yanny's.

Who played the best game you’ve ever seen as a Tennessee fan? I am youngish, so mine is Kamaras performance against Texas A&M. I know we lost that game, but man what a game he played for us in that one. (I may or may not be trying to lead us away from basketball, not that I hate basketball but a month of Jordan versus Bron is enough.)

Let’s talk about the Vols a little more.

What will be our shortcomings this year?

Who wins the QB job in fall camp?

Who is the starting running back because Pruitt certainly never truly seemed happy with any of the RBs.

Who on the defense will step forward and lead this unit this fall? Leader in sacks? Interceptions? Tackles?

Can Cimiglia cement himself as the starting kicker or does he lose that job to some new walkon?

What freshman has the biggest impact for us this year?

Who has a bigger year at WR, Callaway or Brandon Johnson?

There’s a lot we can talk about and this was all off the top of my head. I understand some offtopic, but when Tennessee becomes the offtopic conversation that’s when this thread is the worst at least in my opinion.

That's a good first question. I'd probably say Chuck Webb in the 1989 Cotton bowl is first. Stephens in 2001 against Florida was awesome. Shuler against Florida in 1993 (even though it was a loss). Peyton decimating Bama in 1995 and breaking the streak was a great one too.

My dad would probably say Tony Robinson against Auburn (made the cover of SI when the plan was to put Bo Jackson on it). I didn't actually watch that game though as it was before my time.

Don’t forget the 6 turnovers and lazy defense. And he’s losing to a team of nobodies without their two best players. And? He’s supposed to be the goat, right? Jordan wouldn’t lose to this bum Celtics team. Play better defense and maybe they win.

Lebron misses his buddies

The Celtics are just a better team. Put Jordan in his hay day on this Cavalier team and they're not winning either. The dude had 42 and a triple double. Not much more he can do.

Who is Lebron losing to? Morris? Horford? What a joke. Imagine how bad this would be if Kyrie were playing. Lebron continues to be the most overrated player of all time.

Your biased hate towards Lebron becomes more and more clear with every post you make. Overrated? How can anyone look objectively at his career given everything he's accomplished and say the dude is overrated?
