In response to this I would like to say that I'm still here. Not posting as much as I've been extremely busy. I know you guys are missing my high level, highly intellectual post, so I just wanted to assure everyone not to panic. I'm still around.

I don't think the Celtics are a great team by any means but if you knew anything about basketball you wouldn't come out with the "Celtics have nothing" argument. That's lazy.

Isn't it odd to think that there are times when we all hear the same thing, but many of us are actually hearing something slightly different...but that through years of repetition and context, we all know it means the same thing?

I think it's the same with colors...I think many of us see a color as slightly different shades. For example, I think that many of us see Pantone 151 as a different shades of orange, but because we've been told that it is the official Tennessee orange, we all agree that it is the same color.

I do wish he would have stayed in Miami. Riley might have put a team together that would have been able to compete with the Warriors.

Well, I just listened to it again to see if I could clarify the "yanny" sound any further, and now I can only hear "Laurel." The human brain is fascinating thing.

I think that whole laurel/yanny thing is thrown by there seems to be multiple recordings out there. I did one on my phone that clearly said laurel then my wife did one on hers and it was clearly yanny. Mine also had a blue background and hers a red. Think someone is cheating the system

I was at that game sitting just above the pride of the southland band. My wife wasn't feeling well and was about to pass out but I got her to stay to watch what Kelley was doing to LSU. Found out later that she was pregnant with my first child and now she is 26 yrs old lol time does fly. GBO!

Nah. They were playing it on local radio here and having people call in to say what they heard. They sped it up and slowed it down and it would change what people would hear. It’s got to do with the amount of bass being played and how you hear different frequencies or something like that.
