The Kingkiller Chronicle is an objectively better book series than A Song of Ice and Fire. George RR Martin can write a good cliffhanger, but Patrick Rothfuss is a vastly superior writer who is far better at subtly working difficult writing techniques into his storytelling while also making you want to keep turning the pages just as much as GRRM does in ASOIAF

I'll check it out. Thanks for the heads up. Martin is ticking me off taking so long to finish this.

"Seinfeld" Is Unfunny - TV Tropes

No one had ever done anything like it, and now it seems overrated because the format has been beat into the ground.

You can't compare Seinfeld and The Office. They are from different eras of network television primetime comedy. If you put The Office in the Thursday evening lineup on ABC (opposite Seinfeld on NBC), Seinfeld wouldn't have won nearly the same number of awards as it did.

*Note, this post is part satire and part truth. I like both shows, but think The Office was better.
