I've enjoyed the fantasy discussion this morning, gentlemen and am excited to have some books to get me through the offseason. Thank you to those who gave suggestions.
Frasier is my all time favorite sitcom. The writing is tremendous.
The opening scene of the Valentine's Day episode when Niles is ironing his pants and cooking and ends up setting the apartment on fire is side ripping hilarious. Not a word spoken and it is by far one of the funniest scenes in a television show EVER!
Back on college sports. The NCAA is very concerned about legalizing sports gambling. They might be forced into paying players soon or there might be some interesting performances from players in key moments that could swing millions of dollars.
I read the first 10 or so basically uninterrupted. Might have read one or two in between. That was a few years ago.
I did the same thing, and then read the last 3-4 as they came out.
Anybody looking for a new fantasy series HAS to read Brandon Sanderson's The Stormlight Archives. It's only three books in, but right now I think I like it better than ASOIAF and WoT.
