FWIW everyone I’ve talked to says he’s corner no matter what and he wants to be.

The new staff wants none of that vibe. They want it to be functional and all-business. It's a very workmanlike approach-- you come to work out not hang out, it's not supposed to be fun and we're not going to make it cool to make you do it. They're instilling discipline and trying to build a strong work ethic. Money well spent.

What the heck kind of a pansy staff wants a workout to be cool and fun with lights and music? That's completely ridiculous. Butch Jones everybody lol. What a clown.

Its not hard to see the opportunity and CB is where the money can be made. NFL is dying for good CBs. I think he would be fine as long as he had a package at WR.

Hubbs said on podcast Pruitt would take 3 more grad transfers if he can get them; 2 OL and 1 CB. Likely takes at least 1 OL and a corner.

I have flipped on wanting him at Cb. I didn't at first but I like our WRs even without Jennings. If he can be good at CB that's great. Good vibes on that so far

well, i think you have three things going on....they're obviously trying to do whatever they can to win as much as they can as soon as they can.

i don't think they want to be sitting here in December with a meh record with perception being "uh, what did we do here?" and still have perception questions to answer...

and they've been somewhat selective in who they're really going after in this cycle, guys that by all right could probably play for us THIS year if we could make it happen....lol..... and you can already see how much attention is being paid to the 20 cycle.

which tells me, the 19 guys are guys they want to have the ability to come in and contribute and/or start as freshmen. i expect a good # of EE's this class.

the 20 class becomes the real 'foundation' for the future.

it'll be great if it works.

Most our 2 deep is good enough to compete and win 6-9 games if we get solid QB play. Problem is when injuries and life happens and we have to fill in spots we have GLARING weaknesses.

So I’m good with it. Bring them in.

Only thing i disagree with about the grad transfers. I would rather take a Safety over a corner. I think we need someone else to pair with Warrior.

I don't want to sacrifice the 2019 class to go from winning 6 to 7 or 7 to 8 games. It ain't worth it. We need to build for the long term not for the short when this season isn't a championship run anyway

Only like half your class is gonna pan out anyways on a given year so numbers can be overrated. If we sign a class with 26 guys and Florida signs 19 their class could still be better than ours overtime.

So if we sign 19 that's 6 under. 3 good players we don't have going forward.

If that means one more win for next year it's not worth it imo

Cb is our weakest position on the team imo
