I'm with ob79. Just. Win.

I don't care what the media thinks. I don't want slogans and silliness coming out of my HC.

I am very happy having CJP and staff to develop the players and mold a team together that can make opponents dread playing them. I expect the real football players to take major steps forward this season and next.

Butch was a "system" coach and not a SEC level complete head football coach. System coaches/teams win most of their games against teams that cannot impose their wills on them. When the opponent is dominant in talent and physicality with competent game day decisions, the system teams break down. There is not much Plan B for system coaches/teams. The two seasons of 9 wins had nicely talented rosters our system coach competently recruited with extraordinary performances by a handful of players such as Dobbs, Barnett, Malone, JJ, etc. to cover the inadequacies of the system.

Just checked both of their CBs.

Steve Wiltfong just switched his pick for Quavaris from Clemson to UT on 5/17. That was 2 days after Crouch posted that video in UT shorts.

He also switched his pick for Darnell from ohio state to UT on 4/18.

Steve's picks are 93% accurate.

Maybe not the funniest and Leb could be a lot but Torrance Gibson was pretty wild. Had 2 threads.

Adoree Jackson was a lot of fun too

It’s odd for me because while I’m very happy with recruiting, I’m staying even about it. Not getting too excited over commits nor am I getting upset on misses. I think it’s because I just EXPECT us to land big time guys that fit the system now. I’m not hoping anymore, it’s my expectation.

I’ve always leaned to the glass half full side, but this staff is chock full of alpha male, REAL football coaches. It just feels different. Confidence is high.
