The worst part of all this is a bunch of millennials coming on here trying to downplay almost every aspect of Jordans game to put Lebron on top. Acting like hes better since hes a 0.5% better shooter (omg!), rebounder, and assists guy while downplaying Jordans defense, and tryin to make it like his team made him better than he was. Yall stop. Just stop. Go take an objective look at the stats (like the fact that Jordan has better playoff shooting percentages), watch the tape (not just a 2 min highlight reel), take a deep breath, realize were comparing a shooting guard to a point forward, and then tell us what you think.
Ive only seen Lebron do in one playoff what I saw Jordan do six times; put the freakin team on his back and will them to victory. You millennials just cant get past that. Until then, no argument or stat you can throw out there holds any water.
Steph was not hurt lol. He dropped like 40 against the blazers his first night back. Kyrie was just playing him physical and he cant handle that.
People like coming in here and talking sports in general. No matter if its the cubs, MJ/lebron, the draft etc. just scroll past it if youre not interested in it.
Meanwhile David Swaby is official visiting this weekend per VQ
Arguing with you is no different than the innocuous bs Im trying to avoid so this will be the last time I discuss this. There is an off-topic forum and entire forums devoted to the sports youd like to discuss. Id rather read about football here. Its a few link clicks away and literally the exact same thing. You can go there and discuss. Everyone wins. I dont want to have to sift through to find something relevant to the thread title herego the point of other forums. Youre not a mod. Just scroll through if youre not interested is the reason why a lot of good posters dont post anymore. I shouldnt have to scroll past and have a search party to find something I actually came here to read in the first place.
Stats only matter with context though. Lebron has played on inferior teams compared to Jordan. The night the Cavs came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the warriors was the night Lebron became the GOAT. That warriors team is better than anything Jordan saw

Lebron is elite but he's not MJ. And like Ziti and others have pointed out, it's much more than the stats too. For those of us who watched both careers its clear as day that Lebron isn't on the same level with mental toughness and other immeasurable intangibles. Michael Jordan is the GOAT. PERIOD. Lebron is on his way to 2nd place, that's a damn good place to be.
If you could somehow take MJ's mental makeup and put it in Lebron's body that would be something to see, I wouldn't miss a game.
