Updated Vols Roster Shows Big Gains, Changes for Players | RTI

OL: Brooks up to 292; Calbert up to 327; Carvin lost weight, now a shade over 300; Hall gained 15 to 328-- dunno if that's good weight or bad weight with his injury; Jahmir up to 285; Ollie Lane to 308(!); Richmond up to 316; Tatum up to 293. Trey not listed.

The only player to lose weight was Jerome Carvin, who's still at 300lbs. The "lightest" contributor is Jahmir Johnson at 285.

Hopefully this means we pave some roads for our run game this year.

With Emerson putting on so much weight is he going to stay at guard or do they have him playing Nose now? Isn't 300 pounds heavy for a SDE?

We should see a visible difference on the field. Getting excited.

I never want to see '16/'17 Alabama happen again. The way our OL got shoved off the LOS from the very first snap in both games was infuriating to watch. We haven't won a snap against them since 2015.

I just want to see our linemen bulldoze folks off the line.

Was it Blakely who played a little FB in the spring game?

I want so bad for us to be able to utilize the FB while we shore up our OL. Blakely at 265 could be an unheralded weapon for us if he's able to spring some blocks.

I don't remember him but Pope sure looked good playing FB

Fall Camp Position Preview: Cornerbacks | Rocky Top Insider

Not much meat on these bones.. nothing here that daily VNRF visitors don't know.

TLDR:
Buchanan-- Looked good as a Fr. Has most experience but few starts. Took a step back last year.
Shamburger-- Really good against Bama as a true Fr. last year, otherwise a complete unknown.
Labruzza-- played six games, no stats. Unknown.
Bailey-- unknown. No collegiate experience.
Kenneth George Jr-- lots of JUCO experience. "He has decent size and is quick on his feet, but his attitude is what makes him stand out."
Alontae-- we know. He should compete for starting time this year.
Davis-- RS candidate
Bryce Thompson-- surprise! He's a DB now.

Osborne apparently was in RTI's Safeties preview with nothing more than "He's been moved around this off-season".. Exactly what this article mentions about Maleik Gray.

Underwhelming preview is underwhelming.

"The Athletic" thread in the FF has one of the founders commenting. He's giving an idea about what they plan to deliver and their intents.. should anyone be interested.
