Alabama hasnt had great QBs lol. Blake sims, Jacob Coker, Greg McElroy, jalen hurts are not good Quarterbacks. They execute a system.
For example Mcelroys senior year in games where he had to throw the ball 30+ times Alabama was 1-3. The one win coming against 6-6 Tennessee. Translation anytime he had to actually make plays and carry the team...he couldnt.
I gave you the point that a generational QB can give a program momentum. But dont tell me that high school juniors are lining up to play with Tua right now because he theres a good chance he wont even be there by the time they get to Alabama.
Keep going in a circle. Guess its your debating technique if the Lebron James chronicles are any indication. :loco: On your McElroy point, ANY QB forced to throw is on the wrong end of a battle. Before your time but Peyton v Nebraska. Youre strawmanning me as claiming that McElroy, Coker, McConnell et al are great QBs. No...they were talented winning college QBs who were not SUBPAR. On Tua, Bama has a NFL factory established by Saban who landed Julio Jones in his second class and has used this Process to reap talent year to year...its another method that few programs can replicate. But if Tua develops into a generational QB in his sophomore season as Peyton did? Then yes...great players will want to play with him. Most likely ones that were considering Bama anyway but this is a close.
