I thought I started that..I just said I think he is a great OL, just not really a natural LT. I do agree that he can be really good anywhere on the OL. I think he is a absolute mauler in the middle though.

As frustrating as it was, and as disastrous as it ended, the Butch era wasn’t all bad. There are actually a lot of fun games to go back and watch. I’ve turned on a few at different times this summer.

If we could put him at any position and not have a big dropoff, I would agree. I think that the dropoff at LT is so extreme, that we really need to play him there.

He doesn't even do anything but drop in give his who to keep an eye on and leaves until he has more information.

I think that would be pretty close, i just think it’s gonna be tough to gauge who would start, Gooden or Emerson. Emerson could be a Barnett type talent and ball out. Then again he hasn’t played in a football since his junior year. But yep i think that’s your 2 deep in some form or fashion. I appreciate your charts btw, love seeing things on paper like that 👍🏻

I think that left side is right, but i could see Allen, Peterson and don’t forget about Austin Smith, duking it out on the other side. Deandre Johnson and Shannon Reid will provide some good depth too. Johnson is up to 6’3, 244 now and Reid is around 225lbs

Considering we had NO BODIES on the OL enough to field the O&W Game and he was talented enough to fill in? Says tons about his mentality...he’ll be a starter.
