I guess I'm thinking I like what could be our options on the offensive line, the defensive line, and with the linebacking corp - regardless of the configuration of the 2-deep. I like our numbers in those groups. I'm struggling with the secondary and the offensive skill positions. I think we may go back to old school with WRs where we may only see 4 or 5 guys in the rotation, if even that.
Hopefully this new system eliminates the need for a major WR rotation. Keep 3 or 4 guys with the majority of the snaps - and all of them should be able to catch quick outs and bubble screens.
I never understood a big WR rotation no matter what your offense is. I want my best guys on the field as much as possible.
It would be good if we didn't have to rely on 18 or 19 year olds for the offensive line unless they're generally regarded as a 5-star immediate impact lineman. Age/experience is an important key for the OLine as is the most important unit quality of cohesion. If possible we want our best 5 guys on the field.

Vol picked to finish 6th (I had them 5th on my ballot) and Trey Smith was named a first-teamer at OL.

Regurgitated info from a paid site spoken as first hand factual isnt quite solid info IMO. Just saying.. that authoritative, first hand false insider schtick gets old from LA.
At least just be upfront like Ron and Gucci and not try to act like its firsthand knowledge and just simply share info.
Considering we had NO BODIES on the OL enough to field the O&W Game and he was talented enough to fill in? Says tons about his mentality...hell be a starter.
Except he barely even got in the spring game with those limited bodies....he might can start at some point in season heck we don't really have much in his way. Sounds like he is getting his legs back from a post he had recently of hitting a strength goal. That is a good sign
So back to the War Room. Any idea who?
Tennessee will potentially exit the dead period with another addition to its 2019 class..
