I don’t remember the Palmer ones vs Scar but most of the time 50/50 balls aren’t considered drops unles he has both hands on it and definitely should have caught it.2 per game.
I don't recall 2 per game
4 had one against Kentucky. Only one I recall
I wonder if those 50/50 balls Palmer didn't bring down at USCe count as drops

One-handed attempts are not drops, unless the receiver clearly had the ability to get both hands on the ball but chose not to. On a rare occasion, if a player dives with outstretched arms or attempts some type of acrobatic catch and never had a realistic shot at catching the ball it can be ignored as a drop even if contact was made with the ball.
