Gotta guy on the inside that's telling me that the team is having to lift weights just as hard in-season as they do in the off season. You can believe me or not; but, I believe him. I'll post more, when I know more.

I don't buy it. Wes Rucker would know and he hasn't said a word about that.

Regarding the in-season weight training, just to give you a little idea of what that might look like...

You can maintain strength and muscle at about 1/3 of the volume it takes to put that muscle on. Obviously, in the season, the volume in training is typically cut back because of the recovery demands of daily practice and games. I don't think they are literally crushing their off-season programs right now, but the fact that they are able to train with higher volumes that they typically do during a season while maintaining a relatively healthy roster is a great thing.

I've been lifting regularly for about 8 months or so now. Missing 4-5 days in a row and then noticing slight strength losses is the most disheartening stuff ever. But it does make me never want to miss a workout.

Question for you nick... I want to lose a little belly fat but I don't want to lose the weight I've picked up in my thighs/legs. Any suggestions?

That's why we benched you. You slacker!

No doubt. A few folks on here or a little hypocritical when it comes to things like that.

Nah. It's lame all around. Nate sucked and now he's done. Time to move on. He wasn't even that high profile of a QB. Drafted in the 5th and played 8 games for the Bills. Who cares? It's a low blow from SI for cheap social media clicks.

Speculation on my behalf. Noted spat with staff on sideline during a game this year. Hasn't received playing time this year. Vague tweet implying someone was lying to him. Etc...

I'm betting he found out in team meetings today that he, yet again, will not be seeing the field much vs Mizzou, which led to this tweet. Again, just my speculation.
He's got a family member/ friend that posts on here regularly. Maybe they'll weigh in?

I actually have a connection with Peterman. He's a really good guy. I think it's low as well, just saying that if this was about a former rival QB a lot of our fans would be having a field day over it.
