I am assuming you are talking about Crouch in terms of power back... and I agree he could actually be someone who truly could play both ways in certain situations. What am I missing here on Gray? There's no real talk on any of the services of us, only Mich and Ole Miss and he's set to go back to Ole Miss...
I'd normally say put him on defense, but in this case, I think I'd rather have Crouch at tail back. Bruiser to say the least.

Fair is a great corners coach. When he was here as a GA we really fell off after he left.
Back in the days of good ol Willie Martinez. What a night and day difference its been between our corners with him and our corners with Pruitt. Fair deserves plenty of credit I'm sure as well.

Yes, you're insane for thinking we should compete for the East next year.

We'll be relying on two freshmen on OL (best case scenario) and we'll be replacing four senior DL.

This is a trenches conference.

That expectation is insane.

Just quelling it now.
I agree. Right now I'm in the 7-9 win range for next year. Don't think we'll be better than Florida. Definitely don't think we'll be better than Georgia.

Hey guys, I am not sure, but I don't think Chief Vol likes Butch Jones very much. I am not sure because he just doesn't post about it that often.
I'll take just about every opportunity to doo doo on Jones when he comes up. And he comes up a lot around here.

I am fine with coaches leaving before the bowl but no reason to take a job one week before the regular season is over even if he coaches one more game
Why do you need a reason...if you’re going to take the job anyway? I’m beginning to think he might not.

Looked into this a bit. Looks interesting. Tell me more.

My current set up is 85% of my 1RM, which equates to about 5 reps possible, but I only hit 3 and rack it. I take about 10 deep breaths and repeat. I repeat until I have 15-21 reps complete.

The idea is it is heavy enough for near full muscle activation every rep, but the distance from failure allows a little more work and better recovery.

Hey folks - just welcomed a new kiddo to the family. A little girl. She and mom are doing great, and she’s ready to cheer on the Vols on Saturday.

Congrats. Have a cigar.

Final class prediction.... 26 people (One source says we take 27, another says we take 25. I'll split the difference)

Offense total 11

QB (1)- Brian Maurer
Don't think Tagliavowels or anyone else comes. Roll with Maurer and develop his natural talents.

RB (1)- Eric Gray
I think Gray stays in state. Only back we take this year but we leave Banks at RB as a result.

WR (2)- Keyton, Khafre
Keyton has been a cornerstone the whole time, think we get a speed injection with Khafre who likely needs a year or two before he gets regular receiver run, but spends the interim as a jack of all trades offensive player - lining up in the backfield, etc at times.

TE (2)- Lowe and Brown

OL (5)- Morris, Wright, Lampley, McBride, Akporoghene

Defense total 15

DL (6) - Logue, Williams, Harrison, Middleton, Simmons, Eboigbe
Rolling with the Logue flip based on AV's post from earlier. Think we get Eboigbe from AU as well.

LB (4)- Henry, Pappoe, Marshall, Clemmons
Some might be surprised we keep clemmons but he's a talented player IMO and I think he has a solid career for us.

CB (3)- Fields, Burrell, Watson

S (2)- McCoullough, Harris

Notes - This is really hard to do, getting down the final numbers. It's not that easy to just cut some of our current commits because almost all of them earned offers off of camps. Clemmons is a guy CJP compared to Ryan Anderson at UA. Harrison is blowing up. Simmons is a physical freak.
Harris gives us a little flexibility in case we need another receiver. VQ has suggested the staff might give him a look there as well.

Overall, said and done, our head coach is a defensive guy and I think his first priority is going to be giving the defensive staff plenty of new toys this class - hence the heavy defensive lean on numbers.

Light on RB, but Banks will be only a sophmore, Fil-Aimes will be a senior, Ty Chandler and Tim Jordan will only be juniors.

Light on QB but heading into 19, we'll have Guarantano (rJR), Shrout (rFR), and Mauer. Not ideal. Crap we might need to seek a gt qb.

I’m down with this. The Eboigbe flip would be huge. He along with Logue and the Grayson 3 and of course Wright would be an incredible close
