I like Jesus, but he no help with curveball.Jesus forgives and he's asked for forgiveness. TBH, I don't give a damn what they say but those guys are good at the croootin thing, they'll figure it out. He's a coordinator, not a HC, or position coach. OC's and DC's don't go all Nied's all over the country crootin, Bass. They gameplan and call plays mostly. He's really good at that.
I’d like to see JG behind a line that can keep him clean. Several commentators in Vol games this year talked about how taking so many hits can have an impact on a QB’s psyche. Nate Peterman, for instance, must be an absolute practicefield warrior to have made it as far as he has, but totally falls apart when real bullets are flying.
I also think JG was playing hurt last couple games of the year.
I was there. I was actually paying attention to this, because I expected Pruitt to be pissed about it. However, they seemed friendly, shook hands, and each went their own way. Mason did get the Gatorade bath right before they shook hands though. One other thing re: Vandy.
Mason is getting ready for a new boss. Long time Director David Williams is retiring. They’ve poured little into football and nothing seems to indicate that won’t continue. I fully expect Mason to at least seriously pine for another job. He knows Tennessee is only going to get better too.
I thought he was just wanting him as an analyst
Not correct ?
This was an article from AL.com this past April.
Alabama was one of at least five SEC schools that had contact with Freeze about on-field jobs this offseason. Saban wanted to hire Freeze as a co-offensive coordinator and position coach, sources told AL.com.
Report: Nick Saban Tried To Hire Hugh Freeze, But the SEC Nixed It

Makes senseI don't think they did. What I saw on TV was they poured Gatorade on Mason before he met with CJP. And I think that pissed Mason off. Because no one had a towel nearby. He was making a big deal out of doing his TV interview before someone gave him a towel. The discussion between CJP and Mason looked pretty friendly actually. On TV at least.
Personally hoping Chip Lindsey is the guy.
