I’m sorry, I want someone who’s gone against the best of the best. Like Lindsey or Freeze. Unless it’s Clemson, the ACC doesn’t compare. We need a seasoned play caller who won’t be intimidated by the Bamas and Georgia’s of the world. JMO...

I think Lindsey and Enos are probably the safest hires. Both seem to be highly thought of offensive minds and both have experience running offenses in this league. Freeze I think is high risk, high reward. I just wonder how his image would impact Tennessee in the court of public opinion around the country. Better believe ESPN and everybody else will be make a deal out of it with the whole Schiano fiasco. I'm also not sure Freeze would be here that long if we did make that hire.

He’s an overrated recruiter and seems to be living off two wins vs. Alabama in our fans’ minds. However, this place was universally against hiring Kevin Sumlin although he had the same credentials.

I was good with hiring sumlin.
