i would think with the future uncertain for Locksley at the moment, and the apparent desire Saban has to have Freeze on his staff, if we're going to do this, it gets done pretty quick. if Freeze isn't hired by the end of the weekend, i would take that as a sign it isn't happening........jmo.

The main reason he gets a sniff at another Head Coaching job is by having success as a coordinator. That said, if he starts getting offers as an HC that most likely means he has had success as an OC somewhere, hopefully TN.

He doesn't need to prove anything at a stop like Tennessee to get another head coaching job. He's a proven quantity. Just needs to stay out of trouble for a while.

The good thing is, shotgun, quick passing game is an OLs best friend.

If he's capable of limiting JG's reads to half the field and helping him get the ball out in under three seconds on most plays, then yeah. Sounds great.
