You think the Haslams would let him come here after the Fulmer coup? Ha, no way.

Also when would be get here? January? and leave an NFL OC job for a college OC job?
more the last point than the other, but that's what i can't get past. why leave what you're doing now to recruit 365? FC has it made where he is, has a dynamic QB to coach, and some budding talent.

ii get why he's connected to this job. just don't see it. i'm stll not 100% sold that we'd actually hire freeze, though im ecnouraged that he's actually part of the process.....still think it's lindsey when it's all said and done. and i won't be mad about it either.

if they do hire Freeze I'm willing to be Fulmer has a bigger hand in it than most think. That man craves beating Alabama, and Freeze has done it multiple times. I'd be willing to bet that he will have talked JP into the decision.
Fulmer isn't talking him in or out of anything IMO.

People on this board have said Pruitt was interested in Freeze last year. Don't think Pruitt has to be talked into Freeze. Listening to Trey Wallace on Fox Sports Knoxville and they said Hugh Freeze and Gus Malzahn are best friends. That and if Locksley takes the Maryland job and leaves Bama are my primary concerns.

Our defense stopped their offense,no thanks.

Our defense stopped Malzahn's offense, just like everyone ran over Shoup's defense while he was at UT.

Look at the entire body of work, and you're likely looking at HCs meddling with successful coordinators to the detriment of everyone involved.

I just don't know if Freeze can make a big enough difference in a year or two. OL is going to take a long time to fix and he will be limited in what he can call. If he's willing to stick around for 3-4 years, great, but I doubt that will happen.

Bring on Freeze and land Bailey today.

Elite WR's will want to come here, starting with Haselwood and Pickens for this class.

Our recruiting momentum will take off and end up with a top 10 class this year.

Yes please.

The good thing is, shotgun, quick passing game is an OLs best friend.

The main reason he gets a sniff at another Head Coaching job is by having success as a coordinator. That said, if he starts getting offers as an HC that most likely means he has had success as an OC somewhere, hopefully TN.

He took a 2-10 OM team to 6-6 and a bowl win in his first year. Not saying his results would be instant here, but chances are nice.

Just sayin, that may be the case but to the fans and the media the OC is at fault for the game plan and play calling so I’m taking it for what it is,but you are probably right.
