But if not it seems that the top 2 are Freeze and Lindsey. Which does coach want? Or, if Locksley takes the Maryland job and Saban hires Freeze, does Pruitt go after Enos. Any of those three are great options imo. Freeze just seems like a game changer

Does he not see that Gus is in an extended buyout year? He’s a dead man walking. Weirdest thing I’ve seen in a while. Just fire him or let him do his job.

Freeze, Lindsey, Enos. All would be fantastic hires, but I think Freeze is the only one that could take our current Offensive roster and do something substantial with it in year 1. He is a step above imo which is why Saban wanted him and why he will definitely get another HC gig somewhere eventually.

I don’t understand why it would be easier to get that job as a promotion from Auburn OC (for a team that presumably doesn’t live up to expectations where Auburn people are picking apart every play call, etc.) than from the safe distance of being OC at another SEC school. Being the OC on a sinking ship doesn’t seem like the best way to get hired as HC at the same school. (This is applicable to both Freeze and Lindsey.)
