I’m ready for some nuggets today, boys!

Tennessee ended the year 110th in scoring offense, at 22.8 ppg

There is not a lot of separation between the next 50 or so. An increase of 10 points per game (no small feat) would put us right with South Carolina at 37th and 7-8th in the SEC

Plenty of OCs out there could deliver that with the talent being accumulated.

Oh yay religious talk woohoo!

Yet you can talk about dog farts. You talk about Freeze and his situation then religion becomes a part of the conversation. Get over it. It’s not ike it’s a random thing. Freeze used it in recruiting and I do think it’s an issue to use it for financial / selfish gain.

Ainge on Locked On Vols podcast saying JG spent a big chunk of this year playing with 2 sprained MCLs, bruised ribs, a shoulder injury, and a collarbone injury. Along with the concussion against Mizzou.

Crazy that we didn’t just pull the plug on him after Vandy and just given Shrout a chance at some experience. Hopefully he can put on another 10-15 pounds this offseason and can hold up better next season. Unless we land someone like Hurts and decide to just use a running QB as a band-aid for our terrible OL, I’m not sure we’ll be built that much better to keep him upright next year.

I mean... since WV, I was saying 6-7 wins next year, but to think with Freeze you would move UP to 6 wins seems way too conservative based on what our mid range opponents are losing

New DL and likely OL... I'll have to see what we have there before predicting anything. League isn't kind to freshman on the lines

Yep. If we’re ineffective in the trenches again it doesn’t really matter how much better a lot of our other positions are next year.

Pruitt seems to want to be a defensive team, but I don’t think the DL we’ll be able to put on the field next year will set that unit up for much success, even with possibly huge upgrades at LB and in the secondary.
