I trust John Brice over anyone. He said it's in UTs hands now with Freeze. Said if it doesn't get done with Freeze then they will hit the reset switch. Could be wide open again after tomorrow.

Lots of variables there. Yes, if all five of those pieces fit together, they'd make up a pretty ugly picture. But that's quite some circumstance.
Problem is, we'll never know the true story. If administration is handcuffing Fulmer/Pruitt I wish it would come to light. If that's the case, Fulmer needs to leak the crap out of it to the media.

Watched a lot of NC State this year. Their line was pretty bad as well I thought, but he did a great job in getting Finley out of the pocket. I would have no problem seeing him here, and a bunch of my State buddies would be pissed to see him go.

Did he run a fast pace offense?

I don't recall them going fast but a few post ago it said he did. Just clarifying

Yeah, it's not gonna hurt my feelings one bit, if it's him; would rather have Enos though.

He’s better than our last two, but that’s not saying much

We still know we're going through a pretty serious re-build. Here are the two ends of the spectrum, where reality may fall somewhere in between:

1) We get Freeze, and he impresses enough to get a HC gig after only one year, while the Vols still go what.. 7-5? Maybe 8-4 if HF is that big of a success? And then we're back to square 1 looking for another OC for the 2020 season.

2) We get Drink/whoever, who is here for two years, and is still stuck behind a slaw OL. It may cost us a win or two, but we should still be bowl eligible. And in the grand scheme of a 5-year rebuild, the difference between 6-6 and 7-5 ain't that much.

Didn’t notice anything extreme, everybody incorporates some sort of up-tempo nowadays. They’d get to the line quick after a big play occasionally, but it’s not like they were going 3-and-out every 25 seconds.
