Anyone that thinks there wouldn't be blow back from hiring Freeze is being neive. There are tons of boosters that give various amounts of money. The ones that give $10,000 think they have as much say as the ones that give $10,000,000. I'm sure they're hearing from all of them. They don't want to alienate any of them. If you read what AV said last night about the PR machine, that told me they had to sell this to a lot of people that had questions. That takes time. Hopefully, this gets wrapped up tomorrow. I said this earlier, I don't think this is the Haslams. I still don't think this is the Haslams.

We've had a couple of the media members say they thought it was Freeze but some that haven't.
We don't even know that Pruitt picked Freeze, much less that anyone blocked it.

Will McBride just transferred and we’ll be losing Chryst..... last year we had Shrout, McBride and JG and still took Chryst. If Pruitt wants him he’ll make room just like he would for Hurts. This isn’t complicated lol

Agreed. I think he was the number one guy and I have no reason to doubt @Atlanta VOL when he told us it was done.

What I wonder, however, is if what he heard was that Pruitt has made *his* decision. Not that Freeze had made the decision to accept.

Now, with Pruitt’s decision done, they probably called Sexton to let him know, them Sexton told them Freeze wanted to interview in Tallahassee first - which would likely take all day.

And that’s where we are now - waiting. And in the absence of news, rumors start to swirl.

Obviously you don’t understand how much of a need there is for defensive players.

Pruitt is not going to waste that on a QB.
