As if we didn’t need defensive players last year. Last year we had 3 QB’s too and took a fourth. If we want Hurts or Francios and they wanna come here we’ll make room

Lol okay then. Tell me which QBs we are actively recruiting other then Maurer because I haven’t heard of any. Also, that’s not how scholarships work. You can only take 25 actual scholarships in a year. We are approaching that number with the guys we are looking to get.

Which doesn’t leave room for a QB this recruiting class other then Maurer.

Last time I checked NSD was still a couple of months away. QB is a position of need and if we can find one we like on the transfer market, there will be room. Simple as that. You can bet your bottom dollar Pruitt isn’t looking to go into 2019 with walking concussion protocol JG and two totally green freshmen behind him.

I think this hire needs to be an experienced, successful play caller and schemer. If it's a big name all the better. I know that narrows it down down but I think it's imperative that Pruitt has confidence in his OC. I don't think that was the case last year.

Mods say the hurdles are all on Tennessee's side, not the SEC's. Hubbs "Doesn't feel like everyone who needs to be is all in for Freeze." But they won't clarify what that means. It could be anyone. It could be Pruitt, Fulmer, the Haslams, Boyd, the BoT, the guy Ray who cuts the grass in front of Ayres...

Why do people not like Drinkwitz? I totally understand if he's not number 1 on your board, but he has a good resume. Did I miss something that has everyone down on him or is it just that he coaches in the ACC?

He ain't Freeze IMO is their main reason. He's not bad, but he doesn't have a title or any big wins under his belt. Recruiting would be a concern for some. If they've studied his resume they might mention lack of big plays.

I would almost rather see us pick up Enos given a choice between the two.

I don't think Larry knows much. If I had to guess Sexton is shopping Freeze and we are in a holding pattern. We haven't found an alternate to call their bluff...
