I may be off base, but it genuinely felt at the start like most everyone here was excited about any of Freeze, Lindsey, Enos, or Drinkwitz, but then everyone got googly-eyed over Freeze beating Bama twice (despite the fact that he is dirty as hell and we all know it) and decided it was Freeze or everything else was dumpster garbage. I'll admit that I will be very underwhelmed if it's, like, Will Friend, but I just don't think we need to sink all our hopes for Tennessee's rise or fall on this one guy.

For me, it’s about Pruitt getting the guy he wants with no obstructions. It’s about the football guys running the football department. For the past 15 years we’ve had bean counters and a select few boosters who’ve run everything into the ground. This is ALL about power being where power should be, come Hell or high water.
