Weird. Urban fought like hell to keep from even getting a smack on the wrist from tOSU but now that he's been chastised he up and quits again.

Out on his terms

Scandal passed and he remained the coach. Now he steps aside on a non-related note. 99% sure this was negotiated from the conclusion of the investigation
Thought you were going to bed. You don't trust us with this coaching search do you?

I leave you clowns in charge, and you leave me 70 unread pages and no OC! I’m just trying to get ahead

lol. sometimes you best just isn't good enough.

You're probably right, but for my health & sanity, I wish I knew for sure cuz I'm too old to wait for it all to sort out (almost 40-yr season ticket holder). I currently have faith in the direction of UT football under Fulmer & Pruitt but if $ or admin not on same page, I would like to know so I can spend my Saturdays elsewhere.

If they are not, you will know by the results moreso than someone claiming "X" booster or "X" board member etc... is in the way without really knowing.

If it was up to us, we would have made the hire last Tuesday.

I'd expect Osovet to make it to on field with how everyone talks about him

I still think he's the dark horse candidate.

Maybe he's not ready and we haven't heard anybody in the media really mention him. But he seems like he could be the answer.

I think the hope is to make him a position coach first. But I mean, you brought him here and his offense is what he's known for. I would think he would be at least considered.

he is a damn good coach, would love him to get qb's if weinke leaves, he could instill that quick decision making on the rpo's

I have a feeling that Urban had already planned on retiring at the end of this season and didn't want his name tarnished by being fired before he could retire. IOW, when he leaves tOSU, he wants the narrative to be about him being one of the greatest CFB HCs of all time and not to be about his fall from grace.

Go get Chaney and Pittman and make it work.

Has anyone asked Price if Mo Hardesty leaving could have an adverse effect on Anthony Harris? He was a big reason we closed him so early in the process.

I know Mack Brown is pressing all instate recruits committed elsewhere and UNC has a good track record in Eastern NC.

If Weinke leaves CJP will need an RB coach. Helton was the QB coach.
i know but things are definitely going to be shuffled around either way

if we just replace oc, then there is no room for osovet, so one additional would need to depart on o
