He’s far from the only person I’ve seen making that first argument, and the second part has been discussed quite a bit here already. Does it sound all that unreasonable to you that there are some people in the admin that are raising questions over the Briarcrest stuff?

Even if that exact scenario happens you still wouldn't know if it's true. It's just an indicator. People switch commitments all the time for all kinds of reasons. Usually their own personal ones that have nothing to do with the scenario a stranger came up with.

That's why I described it as an indicator and not a fact/proof.

Fair enough, but would you agree that if that is the case, there is an argument to be made that bringing in someone with an NCAA history could be counterproductive to those efforts? That’s all he’s saying, and even so he’s saying he’d probably hire Freeze anyway.

i don't know about that.

but i will say that you do have a very soap operaish or politics feel to it now.

i mean really what's the difference in watching CFB Live vs. The View?

so, all that to say, i do think there's waaaaay too much attention paid to the talking head portion of the sport. and not enough attention on "the sport" of it all.
