JMO but I think pruitt is using the hang ups to buy time to see what happens at Bama

Freeze is a fall back option to Enos imo

This is news to me. I remember how "excited" we all were when his name came up in our coaching searches last year.

Hubbs-

“No one has told me Freeze to Tennessee is dead.

I think there's more discussions/vetting taking place. In other words working through all the pros/cons/concerns to make a final decision on offering Freeze or not. That's based on what I'm hearing this afternoon.

I know the obvious question is why wasn't the vetting done last week. I don't know the answer to that.

But I don't think the Freeze discussion/possibility is dead.

FSU is looking for a decision from Freeze in the next 24 hours. Not sure where Freeze interest lies with Liberty.

I think Maryland makes a decision between Locksley and Pep Hamilton in the next 24-36 hours.

All of that is just one what I'm hearing talking to random sources.”

Pep Hamilton?

I'm not on the 247 boards often enough to know who's legit and who's not but some guy named bradhensley said his source just told him official announcement tomorrow. No one is bashing him so I'm assuming that means he's been legit before. We'll see...
Freeze?

Some observations:

1. Pruitt seems to be primarily focused on recruiting right now and that is good. No matter how good the Xs and Os, it eventually comes down to the Jimmies and Joes.

2. The new OC needs to mesh with the offensive staff. This may be taking longer because there may be more than one moving part.

Have you ever noticed Alabama never fires a coach? They move coaches to other positions on other teams. Pruitt has learned from the best. I guarantee that Jimmy Sexton and UT helped move Helton to WKU. He may have went anyways. but he had help. Pruitt may have his guy, but there may be other parts to move on the offensive side of the ball. This saves UT lots of money. Did you notice how UT graciously waved what Helton owed UT for leaving?

It's over, boys and girls, the BOT is shutting down the sports programs.
