He doesn't get much credit but Jordan Bowden is playing great right now. Averaging 20 points a game in SEC play so far.

We have so many weapons. Such a deep team. 2-3 guys can have off nights and we're still right in the thick of things.

I’m really hoping we add Tee in some capacity too.
me too. swain seems to think the domino needing to fall is Gattis at Bama....does he get promoted? go to MD with Locksley?

Martin has options...he could go with Locksley, he could go to L'vill, and according to swain, bama would look at him to replace Gattis should he leave.

so my feeling is that if we want Tee Martin, and you value him as a recruiter (and coach) over someone else on the staff....then you do what you need to do make that happen. i don't know that means you fire DJ, but who's to say you can't fire CW and simply overpay Martin to come in as your RB coach?

why wait. if you want him, go get him. hope we can make that happen.

If Pittman doesn't come this year, I'd bet he ends up here eventually. Probably next year or when Wienke or one of our other coaches leaves.

Great hire and is exactly the kind of OC Pruitt needs on staff.

I'd rather have Pittman......... I love Tee n would love to have him on staff in some capacity but today I'm going with the bigger need and that's a big nasty OL. Pittman and Friend together would be amazing!!! Both on field and recruiting.
Will Friend is a good OL coach, we're not struggling there, but pittman is viewed as an upgrade.

Martin would be a hell of an add to the staff, if for nothing else than his recruiting ability. so if pruitt values that, and see's it as adding more value than someone else on the staff currently, go make the change.

personally, hope he does. i won't be upset if he doesn't, but there are some dominos that could fall that could lead to Martin being on Bama's staff.

that would suck. and then i would be upset.

Honestly, was Chaney the "traveler" reference? He's the first person I thought of when I saw your comment but I figured that was wishful thinking.
Don’t think so... I don’t think this has been done for all that long I think Tennessee and UGA were going back and forth money wise and we won out
