After what happened at Bama, NO WAY does Hurts go somewhere that doesn’t guarantee him the starting job. He’s got 1 year to play his way into a draft that will be heavy on QBs. He can’t risk that going to a school where he’s fighting for a job. Just my take...

If Hurts transfers here, Chaney could have an huge impact on his development as a QB.

Think Russell Wilson from NC state to Wisconsin for his last year.

That would be epic and we could go from a 5 win to a 8-9 win team.

I don't necessarily think it's out of the question without hurts.

I think with JG at QB we win 7 games max next year. Too many questions and building depth on the OL/DL.

A better passer and mobile QB in Hurts along with Chaney would definitely be the difference in the even games talent wise (SC, Mizz, Vandy, UK).

Russell Wilson was a much better qb before he transferred than hurts. Much better. Hurts is no Russell.

I wonder if the success of the basketball team has opens some eyes in the admin. I bet theyve realized how much money they were missing out on while we were sucking and they kept going to the bargin bin

I still can't believe we hired Rick Barnes. For once we had an opening and there was a slam-dunk, no-brainer hire available....AND WE DIDN'T MESS IT UP.

Can anyone think of another coach other than Dooley* who has had as much coaching turnover as Kirby has in such a short time? He's lost half of his staff to Pruitt over the past two years (actually I'm wrong last January to now is only year) and on top of Chaney leaving Mel Tucker left too. They're talented but replacing both OC and DC is still tough, especially this late in the game.

I know we may be replacing a few more coaches this offseason as well but UGA's turnover seems like a lot. Ours have thus far been upgrades.

*Nick Saban doesn't count. He runs a reform school for wayward coaches.
