My guy Chaney is a pass happy fella, but if he has a horse or 2 he will definitely run them. Guys this big fella named Jim Chaney knows offense. What many don't know is that the reason Kirby and CJP hired Chaney id because Lil Lane suggested it to both of them. Guys i can't begin to elaborate on how much i learned from the guy doing film study in his old office. He was amazed and ready to offer me a GA job when seeing and testing my knowedge likewise. Only thing was i decided to make 2 babies within a 3 yr period and momma wasn't going for the part time daddy and football coach for a husband LOL

And sometimes he gets the cart before the horse. He wasn’t gonna dumb down the offense in 2010 just because the line had like 3 Freshmen playing in it. And it took about until 2012 before the players could follow learning a new offense every week. But when they did figure him out....well, 2012.

So Kingsbury is HC at the Cardinals now and they have the 1st pick. Reports are saying that Kyler Murray enters the NFL draft. In the past, Kingsbury has said if he were an NFL coach he'd draft him with is first pick. I'm curious as to if the top brass in the org would let him after taking Rosen last year.

I may be in the vast minority, but I think that if I were picking and Kyler Murray was there for me to pick, it would be a hard pass. I know the NFL game has been evolving and smaller quarterbacks are successful now, but dude is 5' 8" and 165 pounds soaking wet.

My rationalization.
1 we sit through the angst of an unusually long OC search, strut out with Chaney.

2. We suffered and rebelled the hellish onslaught that was Bahama John and Schiano, slide right out with non other than Fulmer rebuilding TN football like only a former coach can

3. Way I see it, the retribution for the best freaking fan base in the world, suffering the lost decade, sniffing around the bottom of the SEC, is due. And if my theory is correct, we're in for a ride.

One of them will have a chance to be OM’s next coach, when Matt Luke is fired mid-season and one is named the interim. Ole Miss is about to be the worst team in the conference next season.

I was talking to a big Ole Miss fan about the SEC and his program. They play Memphis early next year, and a good way to have one foot out of the termination door at Ole Miss is losing to Memphis...and he said Luke knows that.

Same. If Cam Newton’s body is wearing down after 8 years in the league, I can’t see this guy lasting more than 3-4. Maybe I’ll be proved wrong, feel free to hang this post around my neck a few years from now.

Charlie bought my grandfather's farm when I was around 14 or so. Was excited at the time, but now I would give anything if that land was still in our family. Always liked Charlie and the CDB though.

I agree. He would be dumb to turn down the fully guaranteed contracts in baseball if he's that good.

I dont think he would be dumb because even if he were drafted last in the first round, he would still make at least twice what he will initially make in baseball. MLB will be there for him when he wants to go there. I just dont think he will have success in the NFL.
