Hey I'm just curious not trying to be negative, but why is everyone so hyped about Chaney. I looked at it and he has just as many years with offenses inside the bottom three as the top three in terms of the SEC. He was always going to succeed at Georgia IMHO they had incredible talent and many consecutive high caliber offenses before he arrived. Granted stats don't tell you everything i know he's pretty good with developing QBs. I also think his balanced attack could work fluidly with Pruitt's idea of what an offense should look like. Would love to hear what else i'm missing. Also really hoping for the off chance Pittman joins him.

As a little kid I would listen to John Ward call basketball games in my room. Had a nerf goal hanging on back of the door. Would pretend I was Tony White and make shots as Ward was calling the game.

Tony White with a 3 point line would be have posted some huge numbers
Looking at that video he had a 3 pt line. I thought it came in later too.

87 was whites senior year so that matches
I didn't play my sophomore year, so I can't remember if we had it in high school, yet or not. They probably started in college first, before it came to high school, so yeah, makes sense. I guess I should Google it

He can adapt to the actual in-game. He is not an OC that has a set philosophy that he won’t veer from. He can gas the opponent’s defense with up tempo if warranted, or give our defense some rest by running the ball.

Have been reading posts the last few weeks but haven't posted. Been busy preparing for the move from the Tri-cities to Chattanooga.

Just wanted to weigh in on the OC hire. I personally love it. I think it's the best hire we could have made all things considered. Yes better than Freeze, Briles, or Yurcich. I know a few liked Sark as well. I would have been ok with that but I'm really pumped CJC is back on Rocky Top!

One aspect about the hire that really excites me is it shows we are willing to open the pocket book for quality. Which is something I personally feel was missing in recent administrations. Go Vols!
