Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me..
That sounds exactly like I picture her being...I wonder if Joey Freshwater taped her mouth shut when they...you know..Funny story. I was in Kroger a few weeks back, and I walk up the self-checkout line and there's some tall blonde woman at the kiosk next to me yapping away on her cell phone, as loud and obnoxious as you could possibly be. As I begin scanning my groceries I'm thinking to myself "Inside Voices Please" (basic manners, stuff you learn in kindergarten). It's at that point that I realize that it's Heather from the morning show. And her voice is just as irritating IRL as it is on the radio.
I may be in the vast minority, but I think that if I were picking and Kyler Murray was there for me to pick, it would be a hard pass. I know the NFL game has been evolving and smaller quarterbacks are successful now, but dude is 5' 8" and 165 pounds soaking wet.
Don’t know of any baseball players that did well after putting it off...seen plenty of the reverse. You don’t play baseball and your skills regress.I dont think he would be dumb because even if he were drafted last in the first round, he would still make at least twice what he will initially make in baseball. MLB will be there for him when he wants to go there. I just dont think he will have success in the NFL.
I listen to Houston Kress in the morning until Ainge comes on because of Heather and how often she says stupid s**t. AM radio is rough. I like ainge for when he explains nuisances of football and the interworkings with cutcliffe. Dont really care for his commentary outside of that but I find the shop talk valuable enough.
Personally I was real high on Calbert, 320+ athletic. Hope he figures it out, or retire. Just the way it has to be going forward. My prediction of starters assuming Smith unfortunately cannot play:
LT: Wanya, LG: JJ, C: Kennedy, RG: Wright, RT: Richmond
I also expect the guards to be in a fierce battle with Carvin for the starting job. So it could be Carvin starting over Wright as a freshman. We'll see. Good problem to have.
He does explain those nuisances well....I listen to Houston Kress in the morning until Ainge comes on because of Heather and how often she says stupid s**t. AM radio is rough. Unless they are willing to offer him a MLB contract for what he could potentially make with a NFL rookie deal...........................................and that aint happening. Maybe if he were drafted by the Yankees or a organization not named the Oakland AthleticsThe bottom line is the As we're complete idiots for allowing him to play football
Dan Patrick is great too. Local sports radio is so hit or miss, it's crazy how bad it can be.Agreed, Ainge is very good to listen to when he's breaking down football. He's done well on the radio, and he's good on TV on Sunday mornings as well.
More storytime. The old morning show with Mickey, Heather, and Jeff was so bad, that it forced me to find something else to listen to. I pulled out the receiver in my car and installed a new system with bluetooth and satellite connections just so I didn't have to local sports radio. I loved listening to Mike and Mike on ESPN until Greenberg decided to stab Golic in the back and run for the money on Woke Center AM. Golic and Wingo is still pretty good though.
