He went 12 deep and they didn't play anyone tough... probably more rested than our 7 man rotation. Was hoping a shooting team on its 4th straight day would lose its legs but they just kept hitting. Meanwhile we were the one with no legs.
I was worried the emotional high would make us come out flat but I trusted a veteran team. Disappointing that it was the opposite.
Yeah I'm upset right now... This stings. His way also had us as a top 20 team in defensive efficiency nearly all year
Most fans aren’t very smart when it comes to basketball. We’re definitely a football school lol
Facts, played teams he could literally watch miss jumpers.Bruce Pearl's big line up was playing Florida, Missouri and South Carolina-- Teams we have slaughtered. This was his big game. We gave everything we had against Kentucky.
All is not lost, my friend. Would you rather have lost this one and make a final four? A National championship game? A National championship? Not saying any of that will happen but if losing today resulted in that would that not be a good thing? Or on the other hand if we won today, and we got beat in the second round would that be worth a sec tournament championship? The Vols main goal is still on the table. That's loser talk...this was for a Championship that UT has not won in 40yrs. This wasn't a "we'll get this opportunity again." You must Take every opportunity you have.
And Kentucky was suppose to be the number one seed greatest team. And we beat them yesterday. LSU got beat by a bad Florida team. Auburn had the easiest schedule. Hundreds of basketball teams in the tournament and only one wins. If this is your idea of success, then you need to go root for Alabama and Duke.Doesnt matter how many you win there is only 1 that counts
