It was honestly a slow motion train wreck. Every year the players seemed less and less interested.

It just dawned on me that the NFL draft is soon. I swear I used to count down to that thing like a kid counts down to Christmas. Especially before Goodell mucked it up making it a during week nights. I used to love that Saturday 'man holiday.'

Probably unlikely but I hope a few of our guys somehow sneak into the late rounds this year.

Agree. It was a NASCAR type move. It's not broke, so let's fix it anyway because well, we're greedy and we know more what the fans/viewers want than they do. Dumb, dumb, dumb...

They've taken a big hit across the board on their revenues and image. He's a financial type out of the private capital industry. Looks like they are in a rebranding mode, so I doubt they would counter.
